THE CHALLENGE
Perched on the bank high above Old Hickory Lake, the new pool and fitness facility completed the ‘public activity core’ for Foxland Harbor Country Club. The facility layout is designed to optimize the amazing views offered by this location. Large windows in the main work out areas capture this view. Likewise the design of the pool gives the impression that the lake comes right to the pool edge. A ‘beach’ style entry is included for small children and numerous water features enlivens the entire pool area.
Manous Design provided all architectural, civil, structural and MPE design services for the project. Manous Design also provided the layout design and features of both pools.
