Rock Harbor Marina
Design concepts for a new 250 seat water front restaurant, with private dining, and support functions
THE CHALLENGE
This concept is a replacement for an iconic institution destroyed by the May 2010 floods in the Cumberland River watershed. The new restaurant is intended to be a destination and takes full advantage of the sweeping views of the marina offered by the site, and provides the owners with operational flexibility for serving guests in separate venues. The architecture is meant to mimic the may historic industrial buildings along the river and to be seen as an abandon boat building facility.
SIZE
6,400 square feet, plus 1,200 square feet of covered, exterior dining areas.
BUDGET
$750,000
