Four fire stations
THE CHALLENGE
The County needed to vastly expand EMS and fire services for the growing area on a very limited budget. The buildings are designed as prototypes which can be replicated and used on future sites. The buildings provide for a comfortable living environment for the EMS personnel, as well as features such as drive thru apparatus bays. The buildings are purposefully designed with a residential aesthetic to more easily blend into the suburban and rural enviroments where they will be constructed.
Manous Design analyzed 6 different sites for suitability and order of magnitude development costs. Manous Design provided comprehensive architectural and structural and civil engineering services plus interior, landscape and lighting design. Manous Design managed all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services.
